Isn't it great - all this history we have at our fingertips in poor old battered Britain.

Here we have the doorway to the Radnorshire Arms in Presteigne with it's seventeenth century electric light, Victorian carpark and Tudor satellite dish.

1616... Just think how much of mankind's foolishness this building has seen

    I really loved reading your blog. It was very well authored and easy to undertand. Unlike additional blogs I have read which are really not tht good. I also found your posts very interesting. In fact after reading, I had to go show it to my friend and he ejoyed it as well!

The white stuff

Here's a high key picture.  This splendid bloom is presented against a white background to captivate and impress.  This is not a studio picture, I found the subject in a garden we visited. In fact the method I used was to photograph the flower from below and I used the grey sky as a backdrop.  Suitable application of exposure compensation pushes the entire image towards white and gives it the high key look.
